We are committed to ensuring that the voices of people affected by cancer are at the heart of service improvements. So if you are a patient, family member, carer or friend, we would love to hear from you.
By sharing your experiences and opinions, you can help make sure that the care provided is what people really need.
There are lots of different ways to get involved, and you can give as much or as little time as you would like. Whether you are taking surveys, reviewing leaflets or acting as a patient representative at Cancer Alliance meetings, your actions will make a big difference to the lives of those living with and beyond cancer.
To join the Cancer Alliance’s growing list of patient and public representatives, please provide your details by completing the contact form below:
Current opportunities to get involved:
Support Group Directory
Do you benefit from being part of a cancer support group in the Humber and North Yorkshire region? Then we would love to hear from you!
The Cancer Alliance Support Group Directory is an online resource that aims to help people find cancer-related support in the Humber and North Yorkshire region. Collaborative Voices Network
The Collaborative Voices Network meets once every other month to maintain patient involvement and Cancer Alliance accountability when supporting the delivery of the Cancer Alliance objectives.
The network includes representation from Cancer Alliance team members and lay representatives, local voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations, local and national cancer charities, public health, CCG communication and engagement colleagues, and patients/service users from each locality in Humber and North Yorkshire.
If you are a patient or service user and would like to join the Collaborative Voices Network to help shape the work of the Alliance, email [email protected].
