Nursing and Allied Health Professional Workforce Strategy
Humber and North Yorkshire Cancer Alliance’s Nursing and AHP Workforce Strategy has been crafted in partnership with various stakeholders, which has provided valuable insights and contributions from frontline workers. A workforce workshop was held to bring together all key stakeholders which enabled the discussion of key workforce priorities and actions that have been worked into this strategy. The strategy seeks to secure a sustainable workforce capable of enhancing cancer care across Humber and North Yorkshire both now and in the future. This vision is formulated against the backdrop of a volatile and ever-evolving healthcare landscape.

The Cancer Care and Outcomes Health Inequalities Strategy has been developed in partnership with different stakeholders, including patient representatives, population health colleagues, clinical colleagues from primary and secondary care, cancer charities, and representatives from the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector.
This identifies ways to build on the health inequality work already undertaken by the Cancer Alliance, giving further direction and focus of resources to transform the cancer diagnosis and treatment of patients whose lives are affected by inequality within the region.

The strategy has been developed in partnership with different stakeholders, including patient representatives, patient and public involvement professionals and representatives from the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector.

Bridlington Health Forum Engagement Report
Bridlington Health Forum are an organisation made up of volunteers who represent and listen to local residents to understand their concerns about local health care provision. The Cancer Alliance has partnered with Bridlington Health Forum at events to speak with residents about access to cancer services, as well as to raise awareness about cancer signs and symptoms.
